Appendix A. End User License Agreement (EULA)

This Appendix applies to installation and use of the Footage Manager macOS app and forms part of the Terms. Footage Manager is licensed, not sold.

A-1. Limited License

While you comply with these Terms and pay any required fees, we grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to install and run the app for your internal media-management work.

A-2. Named User, One Mac, and Reassignment

  • One subscription is assigned to one named user and may be active on one Mac at a time.
  • Business Customers need a separate subscription for each actual user and may not share account credentials among users.
  • The activation may be reassigned to another Mac after 15 days have passed since the last activation or reassignment.
  • For loss, permanent failure, or replacement of a Mac, you may ask support for earlier reassignment, subject to reasonable abuse-prevention verification.

A-3. Validation, Internet, and Updates

Pro entitlement may require sign-in, an internet connection, a device identifier, and periodic server validation. We may require updates or reauthentication for security, compatibility, or legal reasons.

We do not support every macOS, Final Cut Pro, hardware, network-storage, beta, or older app version indefinitely.

A-4. Project Files, Review, and Backups

The app assists with local storage, external disks, NAS, and Final Cut Pro libraries. Before moving, deleting, relinking, recovering, transferring, or cleaning media, you must verify targets, references, storage connections, and backups.

The app does not upload source media or libraries to our servers by default. Maintain independent backups to reduce the impact of incorrect choices, storage failures, permissions, other apps, or concurrent work.

A-5. License Restrictions

  • Reverse engineering, decompilation, disassembly, or source extraction except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law
  • Circumvention or alteration of licensing, activation, billing, or security controls, or submission of false information
  • Copying, resale, rental, leasing, sublicensing, unauthorized distribution, or use to develop a competing product
  • Providing an account, app, or Pro features for a third party to use as its own service

A-6. Open Source, Support, and Termination

Open-source components remain subject to their licenses. Support is available at support@footagemanager.com; do not send confidential media or complete projects unless requested.

This license ends when the subscription or entitlement expires or for a material license breach. You must stop using Pro features after termination. Ownership, file responsibility, restrictions, and provisions that by nature survive remain effective.
