Account and Data Deletion

How to request deletion of your Footage Manager account, license data, and related personal information.

This is the reference version for users outside Korea; the Korean version applies to users in Korea. Mandatory consumer and privacy laws where you live continue to apply.

1. How to Request Deletion

If you can sign in, you can request account deletion from My Account > Profile on the website. You must re-enter your current password and account email before deletion is processed.

If you cannot sign in or need to request deletion of additional personal information, contact support@footagemanager.com with your account email and deletion request. We will verify your identity and process the request under applicable law.

2. Download Data Before Deletion

Before deleting your account, you may download a JSON copy of the account, license, and device activation data currently available through My Account > Profile on the website.

To request access to support records, operational logs, security logs, or other information not included in the self-service download, contact support@footagemanager.com with your account email and request scope.

3. Data Covered

  • Firebase account identifiers
  • Footage Manager license and device activation data
  • Personal information in support records that can be deleted
  • Information directly tied to your account in analytics tools, where applicable

4. Local App Data

Settings, analysis results, caches, or work data stored by the Footage Manager app are generally kept on your Mac. Account deletion applies to account and license data on our systems. You remain responsible for deleting local app data and original media files stored on your Mac.

5. Information That May Be Retained

  • Billing and order records needed for tax, accounting, refunds, or disputes
  • Limited logs needed for abuse prevention and security incident response
  • Information that must be retained under law or payment provider policy
  • De-identified or aggregated statistics

6. Processing Time

Deletion requests are processed within a reasonable time after identity verification and review of any required retention. We may ask for additional information if needed to verify or process the request.

7. Effects of Deletion

  • You will no longer be able to log in, validate Pro entitlement, view subscription status, or activate devices.
  • Deleted account and license data may not be recoverable.
  • If you have an active subscription, check your subscription status in the Lemon Squeezy customer portal before requesting account deletion. Account deletion does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
